"MATILDA" is a personal short video that blurs the lines between performance and presence, between documenting and connecting. The minimal setting allows emotional and relational nuances to surface—moments often too subtle to script or stage.

Matylda moves, reacts, dances, and talks. Her actions are spontaneous and natural, mixed with honest conversations with the off-screen camera operator. He listens, she thinks out loud; their roles shift naturally. What starts as a recording becomes a space of shared openness.

When does the camera disappear? When do we stop performing—or do we ever?

Here, the lens is not a barrier but a kind of witness—curious, open, unguarded. It holds space rather than captures it. It doesn’t offer a clear story or defined relationship. Curiosity replaces judgment, and authenticity emerges not from confession or revelation, but from the quiet rhythm of mutual attention.

MATILDA is about seeing—and being seen—without demand. It is about presence as an act of trust.
