Krzysztof Szpryngiel (born in 2001 in Opole, Poland) is a visual artist and photography student at the Łódź Film School. His practice investigates the boundaries of the photographic medium through the use of new technologies, object-making, installation, and sound. He often dissects the act of seeing itself, questioning what it means to stand before a camera and how the image intervenes in human presence. His projects have been presented at festivals, galleries, and museums in cities such as Paris, Brussels, Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Opole, and Sopot.
Alongside his artistic practice, he creates portfolio portraits for actors and collaborates with theatres on visual concepts tailored to each play — including promotional photography, projection visuals, and poster design. He also gives lectures and talks on photography and art, and occasionally works on curating exhibitions.
